Poly Guard HBSFLE-FG-8248
Poly Guard HBSFLE-FG-8248 is a two-component, solvent-free, thick film, dry by amine additive, dry to coating, with good resistance to liquids such as drinking water, seawater, crude oil and wear-resistant.Paint into thick layers with a powerful air-free high-performance paint sprayer. Outstanding mechanical properties and excellent water absorption resistance, has a large PH range for water transport. Minimizes surface flow resistance in pipes with high wear resistance.

USES
For floors and guards:
- Traffic road surface, garage, parking lot, traffic floor
- Pavement has high requirements for decontamination and cleaning as found in the chemical and food industries.
- Road surface where the finished anti-slip surface is required (a multi-layer application).
- Strong chemical and liquid spill protection
Note: Call our technical department about the application for other assistance or situations

FEATURE
- Resistant to abrasion and chemicals.
- Outstanding waterproof, resistant to fluids.
- Excellent and long-lasting protection against wear.
- The range of dry film thicknesses varies in one application during the spraying process with strong airless performance equipment.
- The range of air as well as the optimum operating temperature.
USES
High-performance coating on steel, concrete, pipe coating, storage tanks, industrial floors, garage … Places at risk of abrasion, where materials are needed Does not contain solvents. In addition, this paint can retain color. Has excellent liner strength for storing and transporting drinking water through tanks and pipes.
USER MANUAL
- Surface preparation
The entire surface must be clean, dry and free from contamination. Surfaces should be assessed and treated according to ISO 8504. - Steel background
Cleanliness: sandblasting clean to a minimum of SA 2½ (ISO 8501 1: 2007) Roughness: use abrasives suitable to achieve medium grade G (50 – 75μm, Rz scale) (ISO 8503-2). - Cement floor
Need to clean grease and dirt on concrete surface … Please contact supplier office for more information. - Conditions during painting
The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the air dew point. For best paint adhesion, take advantage of the adsorption time after mixing the two components and the relative humidity below 85% during the painting process. Measure the temperature and relative humidity in the area close to the substrate. Good ventilation is required in confined spaces to ensure proper drying.Do not expose the coating to oil, chemicals or mechanical stress until dry.
PAINTING METHOD
- Painting method
Mixing 3 parts component A (substrate) is thoroughly mixed with 1 part hardener, part B (curing agent) through a static mixer and ensure that paint is mixed uniformly before spraying. 100% ionization of the spray film is required during painting. - Clean the system
Flush the paint equipment with TRPL TH-8248 cleaner before and after painting. - Pressure at the nozzle
10 – 24 MPa (100 to 240 bar) - Nozzle size
39 to 43 thau. - Spray angle
90° – 110° - Filter size and cleaning process
Both the pump and the spray gun, the filter must be removed after a certain number of sprays to avoid clogging the paint system. Recommended filter sizes are 30 and 100 meshes to ensure smooth and trouble-free operation. - Paint removal and paint temperature
HBSFLE -FG-8248 Part -A Base and Part -B The hardening layer is heated indirectly 60 to 95°C and 45 to 75°C, respectively, before moving the paint from the paint tank to the heated main tank. through the filter bag or temperature can be maintained according to the requirements of the paint process system. The paint system should be completely clean after stopping if it is necessary to delay work for approximately 6 to 8 hours. - Note
– Note that nozzles and other parts including the static mixer of the spray equipment must be properly cleaned after spraying due to the high film thickness liquid epoxy solvent that has a shorter storage life in the tank than paint..
– The hoses should have a high temperature or the hoses are heated and pressurized at a good level and not for too long as necessary.
– The length of the hose between the mixer and the spray gun should be less than 1.5 meters..
– It is best to store both components at ambient temperature. However, for primer or repair coat, lower paint temperatures may be applied to allow for a sufficient shelf life in the tank. - Safe
Work carefully. Before and during use, read all safety labels on paint packaging and containers, refer to the Chemical Safety Data Sheet and comply with all local or national safety regulations. Avoid inhalation, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and do not swallow. Take precaution against explosion hazard as well as protect the environment. Only carry out painting in well-ventilated areas.
